HYGIENE &
INFECTION CONTROL

Not just what's visible,
We meticulously manage even the unseen processes.

01. WATER CARE

The water that touches the patient's mouth,
we consider its entire pathway.

Seoul Yido Dental Clinic manages not only the water that touches the patient's mouth
We also manage the water lines of the dental unit chairs.
To achieve this we operate the NOVACARE treatment water management system.operates.

Novacare Treatment Water Management System

What is Novacare?
What kind of system is it?

It's a treatment water management system that generates low-concentration hypochlorous acid water (HOCl) by electrolyzing water,
and supplies it to the unit chair's waterlines.
It helps manage microorganisms and inhibit biofilm formation within the waterlines.

02 Electrolysis
03 HOCl Generation
04 Waterline Management
05 Treatment Water Supply
Why is waterline management necessary?

The waterlines of dental unit chairs are very thin and long, making water stagnation common.

During this process, microorganisms can proliferate or biofilms can form inside the waterlines,
so simply purifying the water is not enough.

Seoul Yido Dental Clinic We manage both the treatment water and the waterline environment through which the water flows.

02. INSTRUMENT CARE

Until the instruments are ready again.

Used instruments are cleaned, dried, packaged according to their characteristics, and then sterilized.
Sterilized instruments are stored to prevent contamination and are opened for use only during patient treatment.

Sterilization is not the final step, but a continuous process starting from cleaning.

03. ENVIRONMENT CARE

Before the next patient sits down,
the treatment environment is also reset.

We manage frequently touched surfaces after treatment,
and disposable items are replaced with new ones for each patient.
Reusable instruments undergo a prescribed cleaning and sterilization process.

Treatment Environment Management
04. SURGICAL CARE

Surgical procedures
are prepared with separate standards.

Implants and surgical treatments are distinguished from general treatments,
and instruments and supplies are prepared separately.
Sterile saline solution or sterile water is used for surgical sites.

Preparation of Surgical Instruments and Supplies

More important than what looks clean,
is how it is managed.

From treatment water, instruments, and environment to surgical preparation, unseen processes are managed according to fundamentals and principles.
